BitSave Bitcoin helps you invest 100% in Bitcoin. BitSave investment team handles custody, and tax for you, the way a fund manager runs an investment fund.
You invest SIP-style from $10 USD - invested per month or even weekly, or as a one-time amount of $50 USD. The price of Bitcoin is published once a day in the app. There is no lock-in, post 30 days. The product is built for long-term holding, not short-term trading.
Why invest
Pure-play Bitcoin — 100%
The product invests in 100% Bitcoin. It is for investors who believe in Bitcoin specifically, the thesis of it being the new age digital-gold, and want the exposure to it. If you want a diversified crypto basket, the BGCI Crypto Index is the product for that.
Built for investors, not traders
Built for investing, so that you can buy and hold safely, not trade. Your Bitcoin is kept offline in institutional-grade cold storage, not in an exchange wallet that stays live around the clock.
A platform built to last
A holding meant to last decades needs the right structure behind it. Like a wealth manager, BitSave manages your Bitcoin but doesn't own it. It stays in institutional-grade custody, held for you, safe from hacks and still yours even if the platform fails.
Like any market-linked investment, BitSave Bitcoin Product is subject to market risks.
Where this fits in your investment plan
Like any good investment advisor we suggest you should have your health and term insurance in place, your emergency savings, then core investments, and only after that invest a measured slice into crypto. BitSave Bitcoin product is designed keeping that balance in mind. It is designed for long term investing, not short term.
Institutional custody
Your investment units are held by a regulated, institutional custodian. A custodian is a specialist firm whose only job is to safekeep assets, the way a bank locker safekeeps gold. Your investments are off-balance-sheet, which means they are held for you, not owned by BitSave.
Institutional cold storage
Held with institutional-grade custody in cold storage. Keys split across devices and geographies, all offline, not live around the clock like an exchange. Same architecture that the world's largest Bitcoin ETFs use.
Lloyd's of London cover
The cold-storage assets are covered by Lloyd's of London insurance. The cover is directly for the underlying assets.
Off-balance-sheet
Your BitSave Bitcoin is secured with a regulated custodian. The asset is yours, but securely stored by BitSave. If BitSave shuts down you can still claim the assets, unlike an exchange.
Compliance and transparency
Yes. Crypto is a legal, taxable asset class in India. BitSave is built to make crypto investments simple, and verifiable for Indian investors. It gives you a structured, index-based way to access that asset class, with reporting built around existing Indian tax obligations.
Zero forex exposure
With BitSave, your ₹ stays in India, there is no forex exposure.
One offering, one tax event
You hold one offering, not a stream of trades. India's 30% VDA tax and 1% TDS apply on the offering, not on every periodic rebalancing.
Live proof of reserves & liabilities
Your holdings are visible on-chain through Proof of Reserves and Liabilities, verifiable in the app around the clock.
Grant Thornton cybersecurity audit
Compliant on all 26 cybersecurity parameters mandated by FIU-IND assessed by a CERT-In certified auditor, Grant Thornton Bharat LLP.

FAQ
The BitSave Bitcoin product is 100% Bitcoin, by design. There is no basket and no other assets. It is built for investors with conviction in the thesis of Bitcoin being the new-age digital gold, who want the simplest possible exposure without the drag of other crypto assets. If you want diversified crypto exposure, the BGCI Crypto Index is a better fit. If you want gold alongside, the Crypto + Gold product is a good fit.
Yes. The product is built for exactly that. You invest through a SIP or a one-time investment, hold product units, and there is no lock-in, so you can stay invested for as long as you choose.
BitSave's framing is decade-scale: the product is for investors who measure Bitcoin in ten, twenty, or thirty years, not in quarters. Bitcoin is volatile within any given year, which is why the long horizon matters.
On the retail product you hold a unit token issued by the platform, not Bitcoin in your own wallet. This is a deliberate safety design. If you lose your phone, the units can be burned and reissued; a lost hardware wallet cannot.
Institutional cold-storage custody splits keys across multiple devices and geographies, the same model BlackRock and Bitwise use for their Bitcoin ETFs.
Yes. You can set up a SIP from $10 USD a month, the same set-and-forget habit you have with other investment SIPs. Each monthly instalment buys in at that day's NAV. When Bitcoin's price is low, your instalment buys more; when it is high, it buys less.
Over years, this rupee-cost averaging smooths out your entry price and removes the need to time the market.
You can run a long-term Bitcoin SIP earmarked for a future goal, including a child's education or future. The product has no lock-in and is built for decade-scale holding, which fits a goal that is ten or fifteen years away.
The Bitcoin product charges 0.95% per year, BitSave's lowest expense ratio. Buying Bitcoin yourself on an exchange looks cheaper per transaction, but it leaves you holding the keys, reconciling your own tax on every trade, and carrying the single-point-of-failure risk of a self-held wallet.
The 0.95% pays for institutional cold-storage custody, Lloyd's of London insurance, administrative expenses, a relationship manager for every sign up and a ready ITR-format tax statement. It is the price of having the operations and custody handled, on a product built to be held for years.
For resident Indian investors, yes. India's VDA rules apply: 30% tax on gains and 1% TDS deducted at source. You hold product units, so you have one tax event, not one per trade.
For NRIs, the position can differ; tax treatment depends on your country of tax residence and may not match the resident-Indian position. Either way, BitSave provides the documentation. Confirm the specifics for your situation with your tax advisor.
Yes. TDS is deducted at source and would be part of your Annual Information Statement (AIS). For your overall holding, you can request an ITR-format tax statement for your BitSave investments through the in-app tax corner.
The BitSave Bitcoin product is not for timing the market. It is for investing into Bitcoin regardless of price, over a horizon of years. Volatility is a feature for a SIP investor: a price fall lets each monthly instalment buy in at a lower level.
Between October 2025 and February 2026, Bitcoin fell roughly 50%; BitSave's AUM stayed broadly flat through the drawdown, and the largest buy orders came on the days when Bitcoin corrected significantly. If you are looking to trade short-term price moves, this may not be the right platform for you.
You invest in rupees and your payment goes to our Indian entity BitPe Digital LLP. BitPe converts your ₹ into a dollar-denominated digital asset within India — a stablecoin, specifically designed to maintain a 1:1 peg with the US dollar. This conversion happens entirely within India. You are not personally remitting money overseas or buying foreign currency. The Liberalised Remittance Scheme and the TCS on overseas remittances apply to remittances an individual makes abroad; investing in BitSave Bitcoin Product is not the same. For you, there is no forex exposure.
No. The BitSave Bitcoin product is an investment product, not a wallet. You invest INR through the app and receive product units; you cannot transfer in Bitcoin you already hold elsewhere. If you hold Bitcoin on an exchange or a hardware wallet and want to move into the BitSave structure, you will need to redeem it there and invest the proceeds at BitSave as a new investment.
After a buy order placed before the 3:30 PM IST cut-off, units are allotted at that day's closing NAV; orders after the cut-off are allotted at the next day's NAV. The number of units depends on the NAV, not the market price at the time you ordered.
Sell orders are processed within 2 days because the underlying Bitcoin has to be moved out from cold storage for execution; your BitSave wallet is credited immediately after the order executes.
It is for the long-term, set-and-forget investor who has conviction in Bitcoin and wants to build a position through a SIP rather than time the market. It suits someone who can sit through short-term 50% drawdowns for long term benefits.
It is not for active traders, and not for investors who want exposure spread across many crypto assets. The product is built to be held for years, not watched daily.
